Launch of Chimay & Delirium Belgian Beers
If you’ve been following Gigglewater, you know my love for beer. And if it’s Belgian, that much better. Which is why I was so happy and proud to have played a part in welcoming iconic Belgian brews – Chimay and Delirium, to India.
Alain De Laet, owner of Brewery Huyghe (maker of Delirium) and Edwin de Doncker, CEO Chimay were in Delhi to announce the launch of their beers. The beers are being imported by Amit Aggarwal through Hema Connoisseurs. In total four variants were launched: Chimay Gold Blonde Ale, the original Chimay Red Dark Ale, Delirium Tremens Belgian Strong Blonde Ale and Delirium Nocturnum Belgian Strong Dark Ale. Below are snapshots of a super fun party celebrating these belgian beauties at The Beer Cafe.
Bières de Chimay is an Authentic Trappist Product (ATP) one of just six Belgian breweries to carry the official certification. The beers are always brewed according to the monastic traditions, within the walls of the abbey, under the direct supervision of monks and all the profit goes to support social projects.
Brewery L. Huyghe is an independent family owned craft brewery since 1654, known worldwide for the iconic pink elephant, the symbol of Delirium beers. Huyghe is also known for the Delirium Café in Brussels that carries more than 3000 beer labels and is franchised worldwide.
